Going Floral

Blouse from French Connection, long top from Topshop, boots from Schuh

I was looking through my wardrobe last night, trying to decide what to wear today, and I suddenly spotted this lovely floral blouse hidden away at the side. It belonged to my mum originally, and she gave it to me a few years ago. It's from French Connection, and is at least 28 years old. I love it: the colours are so soft and pretty, and I do love the floral trend. I was going to wear it with bare legs and heels, as you can see below, but real life happened, so in the end boots and tights were more practical! But I thought that I would show it to you both ways. I think it would be really cute with a lighter top underneath too.

Eyeshadow: MAC Gleam and a touch of Bare Minerals Disco; Lipstick: MAC Mehr

  34. Ah, what a lovely blouse! I think pieces past down like that are simply the best. Definitely one to hold on to for a very long time. The print and little tie on the front of it are so sweet. Your makeup is so pretty as well! Happy weekend! xx Marisa

  36. I love the floral trend as well and this top looks wonderful. I like pieces with prints that can be combined in many ways and florals usually allow one to wear the same piece countless times without being borring :)
